Beginner Skill Classes

Everyone starts somewhere — and starting is the hardest part.

These classes are for people who are brand new: new to sewing, new to quilting, new to the machine sitting in the closet still in its box. No experience required, no prior skills assumed, and absolutely no judgment. Our instructors are patient, encouraging, and genuinely excited to help you get comfortable.

You'll learn the fundamentals that make everything else possible — using your machine with confidence, understanding fabric and tools, cutting accurately, and finishing a project you're actually proud of. Many students who started here are now taking our advanced classes and teaching their own grandchildren.
